Game Description
Pirates have hijacked a luxury cruise ship, the President's daughter is being held hostage, and diplomacy is officially off the table! Dynamite Cop! delivers an outrageous, action-packed rescue mission on the Sega Dreamcast console, where nearly anything within reach can become your next weapon. Choose from hard-hitting heroes Bruno Delinger, Jean Ivy, or Eddie Brown and punch, kick, and smash your way through waves of bizarre enemies. From shipboard brawls to explosive island showdowns, every room brings another chance to unleash spectacular martial arts moves, outrageous improvised weapons, and glorious arcade-style mayhem.
Developed by Sega AM1, this 3D arcade beat'em up for Sega Dreamcast turns everyday objects into instruments of destruction. Grab chairs, wield swords, swing vacuum cleaners, or send enemies flying with a well-placed loaf of bread! Between frantic encounters, timed action sequences challenge your reflexes with sudden button prompts that can change how the next confrontation unfolds. Choose different routes through the hijacked ship, battle towering bosses, and team up with a friend for cooperative brawling. The result is a wild mix of fast-paced fighting, slapstick comedy, and unpredictable action straight from Sega's arcade playbook.
Fans of Die Hard Arcade will feel right at home with Dynamite Cop!, the explosive follow-up that takes Sega's over-the-top brawling formula to even crazier heights. With branching mission routes, three playable heroes, and unlockable bonus challenges, there's plenty of incentive to dive back into the action and try a different approach. The Dreamcast edition even includes the classic Sega arcade game Tranquilizer Gun as an unlockable bonus, adding another nostalgic surprise. This physical release captures the anything-goes spirit of late-'90s arcade gaming, making it a memorable addition to a Sega enthusiast's collection.

Historical Trivia or Fun Fact
Dynamite Cop! began life in Japanese arcades as Dynamite Deka 2, arriving in 1998 as the sequel to Sega's 1996 arcade brawler Dynamite Deka, known to Western Sega Saturn owners as Die Hard Arcade. Developed by Sega AM1 under director Makoto Uchida, the sequel traded the original game's skyscraper hostage crisis for a pirate-infested cruise ship while expanding its arsenal of wonderfully ridiculous weapons and branching action sequences. Its 1999 Dreamcast release brought the arcade adventure home, complete with extra missions and the unexpected inclusion of Sega's 1980 arcade classic Tranquilizer Gun, giving longtime Sega fans a bonus blast from the company's earlier arcade days.
