Game Description
In Godzilla: Domination! for the Game Boy Advance, legendary kaiju clash as a mysterious cosmic threat sparks chaos. A meteor dubbed “Meteor X” hovers over Tokyo 2, emitting magnetic waves that drive monsters insane. You control the one monster immune to the signal, battling through cities, outer colonies, and moon bases to destroy the source and restore balance.
This 2D fighting adaptation carries over the spirit of its console sibling Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee, but reimagined for handheld play. Choose from six titanic beasts — Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, Mothra, Rodan, and Megalon — each with distinct movesets, rage attacks, and environmental destruction. Power-ups emerge from wrecked buildings and vehicles, and every battlefield is ripe for chaos as monsters hurl debris, unleash special blasts, and compete for survival.
Developed by WayForward and published under the Atari/Infogrames label in North America, this GBA release is a hidden gem in monster fighting collections. Though it may not rival deep console fighters, its frantic monster mayhem, licensed roster, and handheld portability make it a compelling pick for Godzilla fans and GBA collectors alike.

Historical Trivia or Fun Fact
Though marketed under the Atari/Infogrames brand in the U.S., Godzilla: Domination! was developed by WayForward as a handheld companion to the console release Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee. The GBA version adapts the monster mayhem into a 2D action format while retaining the franchise’s signature spectacle.
Among collectible GBA titles, this one stands out thanks to its licensed roster and kaiju appeal. In Japan, the monster designs were tweaked to align with Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. aesthetics, and the Japanese version also featured alternate modes like “Survival” and “Rage” not present in the U.S. release. Its shift from console-style arenas to handheld destruction makes it a unique curiosity in Godzilla’s video game library.
