Game Description
Grab your sword, ready your spells, and prepare to face some of the mightiest monsters in Final Fantasy history! In Final Fantasy Explorers, adventure awaits on the mysterious island of Amostra, where a powerful Grand Crystal draws treasure hunters and warriors into a world of dangerous quests. Starting from the bustling town of Libertas, you'll venture into monster-filled wilderness, gather valuable materials, and challenge legendary creatures like Ifrit, Shiva, and Bahamut. With real-time action RPG combat, familiar fantasy monsters, and exciting boss encounters, every expedition promises another chance to prove your skills!
The real adventure begins when you discover just how many ways there are to fight! Choose from 21 classic Final Fantasy jobs, including Knight, Black Mage, Dragoon, and Ninja, each offering distinctive weapons and abilities. Build your ideal adventurer, forge powerful equipment from gathered materials, and unleash Crystal Surges to enhance your attacks with special effects. This action RPG for Nintendo 3DS rewards experimentation, letting you change jobs and refine your combat style between quests. Even familiar enemies become valuable discoveries as you collect Atmaliths to create monster companions for your next expedition.
And what would a Final Fantasy adventure be without a little legendary magic? Activate the spectacular Trance ability to temporarily transform into beloved heroes like Cloud Strife, Squall Leonhart, and Lightning, bringing a rush of franchise nostalgia to the battlefield. Familiar Chocobos, Moogles, iconic spells, and towering Eidolons make this adventure feel like a celebration of the series' greatest hits. Released in North America in 2016, this physical Nintendo 3DS game offers a distinctive monster-hunting spin on Square Enix's beloved fantasy universe, making it an entertaining discovery for longtime fans and handheld RPG collectors.
