Game Description
Adventure is calling from the shores of Hoenn! In Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, set out from Littleroot Town on an unforgettable journey filled with mysterious caves, tropical forests, crashing ocean waves, and hundreds of Pokémon waiting to be discovered. Choose your first partner from Treecko, Torchic, or Mudkip, then build a team capable of conquering eight Pokémon Gyms and challenging the Elite Four. But trouble is brewing beneath the waves! The villainous Team Aqua, led by Archie, plans to awaken the legendary Kyogre and expand the world's oceans. Can you stop their ambitious scheme before Hoenn is changed forever?
Originally inspired by the Game Boy Advance classic, this turn-based Pokémon RPG for Nintendo 3DS brings Hoenn roaring back with vibrant 3D environments, exciting new discoveries, and deeper ways to raise your favorite Pokémon. Track elusive creatures using the DexNav, strengthen your team through strategic battles, and unleash spectacular Mega Evolutions when the stakes are highest. Take to the skies aboard Mega Latias to discover hidden Mirage Spots, or explore the region's waterways with Surf and Dive. Every new route offers another chance to discover rare Pokémon, uncover secrets, and build your dream team on Nintendo's handheld system.
For Trainers who remember the excitement of discovering Hoenn on the Game Boy Advance, this adventure is a wonderful return to familiar territory with plenty of surprises. Decorate your own Super-Secret Base, show off your favorite Pokémon in Contest Spectaculars, and uncover the thrilling Delta Episode featuring Rayquaza, Deoxys, and the mysterious Zinnia. Developed by Game Freak and released in North America in 2014, this physical Nintendo 3DS cartridge revisits one of Pokémon's most beloved regions while introducing unforgettable new adventures. From legendary encounters to that first hard-earned Gym Badge, Hoenn's magic is ready to be rediscovered!

Historical Trivia or Fun Fact
Released in North America on November 21, 2014, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire reimagined 2003's Pokémon Sapphire Version for Game Boy Advance, bringing the Hoenn region into the sixth generation of Pokémon adventures. In a fitting return to the series' roots, Shigeru Ohmori, who had worked on the original Ruby and Sapphire games early in his Game Freak career, directed the Nintendo 3DS remakes. The developers went far beyond a visual makeover, introducing soaring flight across Hoenn, Primal Reversion, expanded Secret Bases, and the brand-new Delta Episode. It was a nostalgic homecoming for longtime Trainers and a fresh invitation for a new generation to discover the world of Hoenn!
