Sega Marine Fishing was developed as a follow-up to Sega Bass Fishing and ran on the same NAOMI arcade hardware. The game's unlockable extras, like a full fish tank aquarium you can customize, added surprising depth to what’s otherwise pure pick-up-and-play fun.
As an oddball sidebar not specific to this game, the Dreamcast fishing controller (sold separately) hilariously functions in other unrelated games.
