Historical Trivia or Fun Fact
Prize Fighter was one of the final FMV titles developed by Digital Pictures for the Sega CD and stood out for its artistic black-and-white presentation—an unusual choice that gave the game a gritty, vintage film feel. The game’s director, Ron Stein, brought real-world fight choreography experience to the production, having worked on classic boxing films. For collectors, the game is often praised as a standout example of FMV done right during Sega CD’s experimental era.
