Game Description
Bowser has a BIG surprise for Mario and his friends—and it's going to be a tiny adventure! In Mario Party DS, the Mushroom Kingdom's favorite heroes are magically shrunk to miniature size after falling for one of Bowser's sneaky tricks. Now Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, and the gang must navigate oversized environments, compete in outrageous challenges, and recover the stolen Sky Crystals. This board-game-style party adventure for Nintendo DS combines dice-rolling strategy, colorful Mushroom Kingdom settings, and frantic minigame competition into a pint-sized celebration of classic Mario fun, all designed for Nintendo's dual-screen handheld system.
Roll the dice, collect coins, and chase down Power Stars as you compete across five themed game boards packed with surprises. Every turn can bring a new opportunity—or a hilarious setback—as players encounter special spaces, purchase helpful items, and battle for the lead. When the minigames begin, prepare for touchscreen challenges, button-mashing contests, clever puzzles, and lightning-fast tests of skill. With more than 70 minigames, familiar Nintendo characters, and inventive miniature-sized environments, this physical Nintendo DS cartridge delivers the unpredictable competition and laugh-out-loud moments that made Mario Party a multiplayer favorite.
There's plenty of party action even when you're flying solo! Take on Story Mode to guide your chosen character through Bowser's miniature mischief, conquer board challenges, and face off against memorable bosses. Or jump into Minigame Mode to revisit your favorite contests, improve your records, and unlock additional challenges. From racing through giant household objects to battling inside oversized gardens and kitchens, the game's playful sense of scale gives every competition a fresh twist. For longtime Mario Party fans and Nintendo DS collectors, this handheld installment delivers a distinctive mix of classic board-game rivalry, creative minigames, and unmistakable Mushroom Kingdom charm.
