Game Description
Planet Bomber is under attack, and one little hero has a whole lot of explosive trouble on his hands! In Bomberman 64, the villainous Altair has unleashed the power of the Omni Cube, threatening Bomberman's peaceful home. With help from the mysterious Sirius, our bomb-tossing hero sets out to dismantle Altair's forces across colorful, danger-filled worlds. This 3D action-adventure game for the Nintendo 64 trades traditional maze battles for sprawling environments where carefully placed explosives, clever puzzle-solving, and perfectly timed blasts are your tickets to victory.
Every corner hides another opportunity for explosive creativity! Toss bombs across gaps, kick them toward unsuspecting enemies, or use their blasts to uncover secret pathways and reach seemingly impossible places. From the lush Green Garden to the fiery Red Mountain, each world introduces fresh obstacles and increasingly tricky challenges that reward experimentation. Hudson Soft's bomb-based puzzle adventure gives familiar Bomberman action an exciting new dimension, making this 1997 Nintendo 64 cartridge release a distinctive chapter in the long-running series. Keep your eyes peeled for hidden Gold Cards, because the biggest secrets demand more than simply reaching the exit!

Historical Trivia or Fun Fact
Bomberman 64 marked Hudson Soft's ambitious move into fully three-dimensional Bomberman adventures in 1997, replacing the series' familiar grid-based stages with freely explorable environments and bomb-powered puzzles. Originally released in Japan as Baku Bomberman, the game introduced a new style of exploration while retaining the explosive personality that made the franchise a console favorite.
