Follow these packing guidelines to ensure your video games and consoles arrive safely and maintain their trade-in value:
- Use a sturdy box with enough space for padding around all items.
- Wrap each console, controller, and accessory in bubble wrap or packing paper.
- Use bubble wrap or foam separators for cartridge games to prevent label damage.
- For disc-based games, ensure the discs are secured in their cases to avoid scratches.
- Fill any empty space with packing material (air pillows, bubble wrap, etc.) to prevent movement.
- Do not ship items in padded envelopes — these don’t protect well enough during transit.
We inspect every item upon arrival, so proper packaging helps protect your items and ensures a smooth payout process.
Important Trade-In Guidelines – Read Before You Ship
To ensure a smooth process and maximize your trade-in value, please review the following requirements before sending us your games or consoles. We only buy authentic, working video games and systems that are in good condition and suitable for resale.
- ✅ All items must be fully functional — we test every game and console upon arrival.
- ✅ Disc-based games must include the original case and cover artwork; manuals are preferred but not required.
- ✅ Cartridge-based games can be loose or complete-in-box (CIB).
- ✅ We do not accept games with torn labels or manuals, writing, heavy wear, or water damage.
- ✅ We only buy genuine NTSC (North American) games and systems. No bootlegs, reproductions, or imports.
- ✅ Sports games often have low resale value — you may want to exclude them for a better quote.
When you submit the form, you're requesting a no-obligation offer. If you accept our quote, we’ll send you a prepaid USPS shipping label* and begin evaluating your items once they arrive. Any items that are non-working, fake, or not as described will be excluded from the final payout.
*Important Shipping Note: We’ll email your USPS label after you provide accurate box dimensions and weight. We cannot accept UPS or FedEx shipments, as our PO Box only receives USPS mail.
If we decline any items, we’re happy to return them to you for a flat $10 return shipping fee. Otherwise, we will responsibly recycle or dispose of them.
We typically process all trades within 72 hours of receiving your package. You'll be notified of the final payout amount and can choose between:
